SCALP MICROPIGMENTATION

Hair loss in both men and women is more common than you think! Hair loss can happen due to heredity, aging, stress, changes in hormones or testosterone. Inherited, or pattern baldness, affects many more men than women.

With Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) we can help create the illusion a head full of hair. We tattoo the scalp using an advanced technique to mimic the look of hair follicles.

PREPARATION PRIOR TO APPOINTMENT

One week before your initial appointment, moisturize your scalp 3 to 4 times a day in the areas that will be pigmented. This will ensure your scalp is in the best possible condition and hydrated which will allow the pigment to be properly absorbed. If your skin is oily then do not moisturize.

  • Please arrive to your appointment with clean scalp.

  • For those who are bald please have your hair shaved or use clipper #0 the day of your appointment.

  • Avoid certain medications, such as aspirin and ibuprofen, since these medications can prevent blood clotting, causing you to bleed. Certain drinks, such as tea, coffee, and energy drinks, should also be avoided since they are also blood thinners.

  • Avoid shaving as well with a normal blade until 15 days after.

  • Avoid direct sunlight for 30 days out.
